Fellowship Across Borders

One Gospel. Relationships built through Scripture, prayer, and care.

Kenya

Pastor John’s connection with VOVM began through the ministry website and grew into continuing discipleship and fellowship. Together we are considering Scripture access, teaching resources, and practical needs.

Malawi

Pastor Patrick reached out seeking discipleship and resources to equip others. Online fellowship and work on language-appropriate materials support this developing relationship.

Ministry Update · October 27, 2026

We continue in Scripture teaching, prayer, and fellowship with Pastor John in Rongo, Kenya, and Pastor Patrick in Blantyre–Machinjiri, Malawi. Recent correspondence has clarified needs for language-appropriate Bibles, printed resources, food, safe water in Kenya, and practical support for group teaching.

A growing connection in Malawi

Following a fruitful conversation with African Missions For Christ (whose email name is AMFCW), we are beginning a relationship of mutual support. Their ministry works directly in Malawi. Specific projects, resources, and responsibilities will be worked out together.

Steven reports that their radio tower has been erected and that the project is awaiting a frequency. AMFC’s public website also describes its radio station as awaiting a licence. We are praying for this work and exploring appropriate ways to help; a broadcast launch date and assigned frequency have not been confirmed.

Outreach and practical next steps

Our current Kenya and Malawi support effort includes 361 documented sent messages: the national campaign, specialist inquiries, a library follow-up, and further contact with AMFC. These are outreach messages, not a count of partners or deliveries.

An October 27 reply from Kibabii University Library connected us with the Rongo University team. The previous application deadline has passed, so the next step is to establish future intake timing and identify a suitable school or established library. World Computer Exchange has also clarified a paid equipment and shipping option for consideration.

Victory Over Vice Ministries carries teaching, prayer, discipleship, and fellowship. The separately incorporated Victory Works Charitable Ministries develops practical charitable support. No new grant award, equipment shipment, or delivery of the requested Bibles and printer has been verified in this current effort.

Our next ministry update is planned for Thursday, October 29. Please pray for local leaders and families, wise decisions, and resources that meet specific needs. Visit the full October 27 Victory Works update or the optional newsletter page to stay connected.
