Walking Together in Malawi
Discipleship that equips others to serve.
A Shared Desire for Discipleship
Pastor Patrick reached out after finding VOVM’s discipleship material online. In a September 23, 2026 conversation from Malawi, he described his desire to learn, strengthen his teaching, and help other men and women grow in the Gospel.
Patrick spoke of ministry in Malawi and connections with neighboring Mozambique. The relationship with VOVM begins with person-to-person discipleship and the hope that faithful teaching can be shared with others.
Teaching Across Language and Distance
Patrick identified Chichewa as the mother language of his community, alongside some use of English. The ministry has been preparing teaching and study resources with that language context in mind, with local review needed for materials intended for wider use.
Continuing online fellowship has created opportunities for prayer, Bible discussion, and honest questions about living out Christian faith in difficult circumstances.
Fellowship and Practical Needs
The conversations have included the need for food, Bibles, printed teaching resources, and dependable communication. Plans for further assistance and community development remain subject to resources, local coordination, and responsible oversight.
